Nana and Papa

We had the great, great pleasure of having nana and papa come visit us for a whole week!!  For a long time Brie has called grandpa "ampa"...which slowly has turned into papa.  For the longest time she wouldn't say grandma or anything close to it.  Then, last week when I told her they were coming to visit she all of a sudden started saying "nana".  So, apparently Brie has decided that grandma and grandpa Long shall be called nana and papa :). 

Brie (and grandma and grandpa) was in heaven!  It was a rough week at work for Justin and a rough week for me as I was sick, so it was such a huge blessing that they happened to be here and did such a great job taking care of Brie!  Highlights of the week included a trip to the Children's Museum, a few trips to the park, and lots of time reading stories and playing together.  Unfortunately, the week has come to an end and they are on their way back to NE right now.  I'm afraid that when nap time is over little miss is going to be very confused and looking all over for nana and papa!  I'm not sure she understood when they left that they were really leaving for a long time.  Thank goodness for Skype!!!
