Science Teachers Rule =)

So I just had to post today, that sometimes (not all of the time), I as a science teacher get to do the COOLEST (well what I think is the coolest) things! This past week, my aquatic science seniors dissected HUGE striped bass. Now, granted, my room smelled for a couple of hours, but it was so NEAT and I know the experience will be with them for many years to come. They were so into it and had so much fun that we're going to do frogs in another month or two! Yeah! I LOVE my seniors. I wish my freshman were as mature and fun, so I could dissect things with them too! Ah well, you can't have it all! Anyhow, just wanted to share my fun and post a few pictures for you (warning, they are not for the faint of heart!). Take care all!

The internal organs =)

Cutting up the stomach...unfortunately there was nothing interesting inside!
