Newborn Photo Shoot

When looking at different newborn photos to find some poses I wanted to do with Brie at our shoot this weekend, I saw all these beautiful pictures of angelic little sleeping babies and had the highest of expectations for the great photo shoot we would have with our little angel...then the time for the photo shoot came, and reality sunk in. Little miss Brie was super hungry yesterday and was not happy unless she was getting fed, not a great situation for trying to get photos taken. Luckily, we have an awesome photographer who has a 2 year old and knows the trials of trying to take newborn photos. Somehow, amazingly, he was able to snap a few really good shots yesterday, despite her melt downs. So, we planned for him to come back this morning, because she's usually pretty chill in the mornings. Well, it went better today, but we still weren't able to get any family shots yet. So, we're going to give it a few weeks, and hopefully by then we will have better luck :). At least now I have more realistic expectations of how a newborn photo shoot really works!

I love how she is staring at daddy in this one--she loves her daddy!

Ahhh...there's my little angel (I have no idea how he snapped this, she was crying and/or squirming most of the time when we laid her down...amazing photographer!)

Justin's hand looks SO big compared to her tiny little head and body! Wow!
