*Brie continues to amaze us each and every day. Her vocabulary is mind-boggling and this girl's memory is scary good. We have to be really careful what we say and promise these days! She is getting used to the idea of being a big sister and has stopped telling us "NO!" when we ask her if she will be a big sister. It's a good thing, since BH2 is going to be here before we know it!
*Brie will finish up her time at Sun, Moon and Stars Learning Center this Thursday. It's very bittersweet for us because we have LOVED this center and Brie has LOVED going there every Tuesday and Thursday. She loves her friends, teachers, and Mr. Neal the music man who comes every Tuesday. However, we are excited for the opportunity for me to stay home full time and Brie will participate in a Mother's Day Out program at a local church starting in September, so I'm sure she will learn to love her new teachers and make new friends!
*I finished up my time as a teacher at TSD the first week of June. Also very bittersweet! However, as I tell many people, I'm keeping my big toe in the door :). I will continue coaching the academic bowl team (my one true love and passion!) so I'll be up at the school once a week most weeks and I'm doing some contract work through the outreach center, so I'll be helping coordinate and lead some teacher workshops with that. I think that and adding BH2 to our household will keep me pretty busy in the coming year!
*We are gearing up to celebrate Brie's big 2nd birthday! We can hardly believe our little gal is about to be 2! My mom, dad, sister and Gizmo (Reanna's dog, who Brie LOVES) are all coming down to help us celebrate. We are looking forward to all the fun!
Here are a few pictures of our little almost-2-year-old :)
