Crazy Austin Traffic

Well, unfortunately, our biggest news of the last couple of weeks is that Justin and I, on the same day (at different times) were both rear-ended. Luckily both of us (and miraculously our cars) are completely fine. I was hit (the third car in line) on my way to work last Friday. I got hit pretty hard and was sore over the weekend, but my super bumper did it's job and there was no damage! Praise God! Justin was, and I quote from him, "Tapped by a punk from CA in a BMW". He wasn't hurt at all, which is good.
In other, more fun and exciting news, we had two couple friends from our old church over for dinner and games on Saturday night. We had a great time with all the games, but I think I speak for all of us when I say that playing the new DVD Newlywed game was the most fun. You can play against a real TV couple from the 70's, and they are HILARIOUS! It was great. Justin and I smoked the others in the first game, but got smoked in the second game =). Oh well, you can't win them all!
On Sunday we enjoyed some AWESOME playoff football games. It was one of the first times this season that I actually watched the game. Usually I read, or do school work, or something, but these games were just too good! I had to actually watch them =)! Justin and I definitely enjoyed the relaxation time on the couch. Sierra joined in and had a good time relaxing in her new bed. I'll post some pictures for you, because it was just too cute! When my parents were here, they brought a small bed for Gizmo and Sierra loved climbing into it even though it was too small for her. So, when they left with the bed, we got her one that is more her size and she loves it. It's quite entertaining for us to watch her sack out, that's for sure!
Well, that's about all from the Halvorsen Household. This coming weekend we'll be gathering with Justin's family for his mom's birthday, so I'll have some new pics of my niece to post in the next couple of weeks =)!
